Darrell Gullett of White Oak, KY, passed away Thursday, April 2, 2020 at his residence, at the age of 81 years, 9 months, and 23 days. He was born Friday, June 10, 1938 at White Oak, KY, son of the late Frank & Alice Lykins Gullett.

Darrell was a farmer and a painter by trade. He was a Christian and was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, and brother. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Marcus, Wendell, Leo, & Phillip Gullett; & four sisters, Wilma Jean Gullett, Mildred Burkhart, Anna Clay Spencer, and Fran Mettler.

He is survived by five children, Anthony & Geri Gullett of Ezel, KY, Dennis Gullett of Felicity, OH, Timothy Gullett of Amelia, OH, Kyle & Missy Jo Gullett of West Liberty, KY, and Veronica Gullett of Maysville, KY; eight grandchildren, Landon Gullett, Taylor Brooke Skaggs, Wendie Gullett, Lindsay Rae Gullett, Dylan Lucas, Rachael Gullett, Jeremy Thornberry, and Josh Thornberry; several great grandchildren; and six sisters, Ruie Clark and Kathy Gullett both of West Liberty, Teresa Gullett of Morehead, KY, Jenny Lykins of White Oak, KY, Jackie Weddington of Winchester, KY, and Dorothy Ward of Salyersville, KY.

Due to the COVID-19 requirements set forth by Governor Andy Beshear, a private funeral service for the immediate family, will be held Sunday, April 5, 2020 at the Potter Funeral Home, with private burial immediately following in the Gullett Cemetery, White Oak, KY, with Bro. Harry Frisby officiating.
