Danny Ray Cox

Danny Ray Cox of West Liberty, KY, passed away Saturday, November 28, 2020 at his residence, at the age of 59 years, 2 months, and 8 days. He was born Wednesday, September 20, 1961 at West Liberty, KY, son of Geneva Blevins Cox the late Ray Cox.

Danny Ray was united in marriage to Kathy Cassity. This union was blessed with one son, Jonathan Ray. He worked as a tree trimmer and was the owner of Cox Tree Service in West Liberty. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother, and will be missed by all of his family and friends.

In addition to his father, Ray Cox, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Noah & Alta Cox and Frank & Ola Blevins.

Danny Ray is survived by his loving wife, Kathy Cox; one son, Jonathan Ray Cox (Santana) of West Liberty, KY; one granddaughter, Lindsay Briann Cox; his mother, Geneva Cox of West Liberty, KY; two sisters, Rhonda Lewis (Arlie) and Schiffon Caudill (Pete) all of West Liberty, KY; one brother, Robbie Cox (Trish) of West Liberty, KY; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Graveside service Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at the Cox Cemetery, Zag, KY, with Rev. Jonathan Sargent & Bro. Phillip Ferguson officiating, with burial to follow. Potter Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers: David Carter, Robbie Cox, Arlie Lewis, Jonathan Cox, Justin Lewis, Aaron Holbrook, Greg Cornwell, and Michael Cornwell.

Honorary Pallbearers: All His Many Friends.
