Daniel Clay Hay

Daniel Clayton Hay of Frenchburg, KY, passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2020, in Frenchburg, KY, at the age of 52 years, 10 months, and 8 days. He was born Wednesday, July 26, 1967 at Lexington, KY, son of Bobby Clay Hay and the late Gloria June Wilson Culp.

He was a former carpenter and caretaker of his father. He was a loving son, and will be sadly missed by all of his family and friends.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Lawson and Mike Lawson; and a special uncle whom he was very close to, Jackie Hay.

He is survived by his father, Bobby Clay Hay of Hazard, KY; one daughter, Autumn Hay of Somerset, KY; two brothers, Rick Lawson of Corbin, KY and Brian Carroll & Kim Storms of Kingston, TN; one sister, Karen & Edwin Hollingsworth of Corbin, KY; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A memorial service will be planned at a later date by the family.
