Clifton Suzann (Wright) Cantrell

Clifton Suzann “Suzy” Wright Cantrell of West Liberty, KY, passed away Friday, June 12, 2020 at her residence, at the age of 45 years, 5 months, and 30 days.  She was born Friday, December 13, 1974 in West Liberty, KY, daughter of Clifford and Carol Ferguson Wright.

She was a Certified Nursing Assistant, a Christian, and member of New Salem Enterprise Baptist Church, and a homemaker, devoting her life to care for her family and her home. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and daughter and will be missed by all her family and friends.

Suzy was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Oval and Sarah Ferguson; her paternal grandparents, James McCoy and Nervie Wright.

She is survived by her parents, Clifford and Carol Ferguson Wright; her husband, Jackie Cantrell; two daughters, Sarah Adkins and husband Dustin, and Emily Legg and husband Jon; two sons Tyler Lewis and Zackery Cantrell all of West Liberty, KY; two  grandchildren, Rennyn Kyle Adkins, Janea Elizabeth Legg; two step children, Jacklyn Gibbs and husband Aaron, James Cantrell and wife Jackie; five step grandchildren; one brother, Aaron Wright and wife Jennifer; one niece, Audrey Wright;  and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and her fur babies, Jasmine and Joplin.

Funeral service 1:00 pm Tuesday, June 16 at the Potter Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Price and Rev. Ricky Keeton officiating.  Burial will follow in the Paris Ferguson Cemetery, Relief, KY  Visitation 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm Monday at the Funeral Home.  COVID-19 Regulations will be followed.
