Clifford Howard, Jr.

Clifford Howard, Jr. of Morehead, KY, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2024, at his residence, at the age of 77 years, 4 months, & 28 days.  He was born Wednesday, December 25, 1946 at Mansfield, OH, son of Clifford Sr. & Marie Risner Howard.

He was united in marriage to Debra Trent.  He was a retired carpenter and was of the Pentecostal faith.  He will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, and brother and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford Sr. & Marie Howard; his wife, Debra Trent Howard; and two great grandchildren, Bentley & Baby O.

He is survived by three children, Kimberly Preece (Greg) of Woodsbend, KY, Jerry Howard, & Kristy Sutton (Michael) all of Morehead, KY; 9  grandchildren, Dustin Harvey (Brittney), Destiny Lopez (Jonathan), Tyler Howard (Dawna), Dylan Adkins (Bre), Jordan Adkins, Whitley Olderham (Cain), Skyler Howard, Jerra Howard, and Kadyn Sutton; 14 great grandchildren, Caden, Colton, Kashton, Kyson, Lily, Landon, Kyleigh, Kynzleigh, Rylan, Braylee, Gracelynn, Jaxton, Jakobi, & Bailey; one brother, Estill Howard (Nancy) of Sandy Hook, KY; one sister, Sharon Howard of Wrigley, KY; and the mother of his children, Sandra Potter of Morehead, KY.

Funeral service 2 p.m. Sunday, May 26, 2024 at the Potter Funeral Home, with Bro. Raymond Vancleave officiating.  Burial to follow in the Trent Cemetery, Rainbow Road, Morehead, KY.  Visitation 12 -2 p.m., Sunday, May 26, 2024 at the funeral home.
