Charles Stanley Collins of West Liberty, KY, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2022 at Morgan County ARH, at the age of 76 years, 2 months, and 27days. He was born Friday, February 22, 1946, in Blairs Mill, KY, son of the late Morton & Bessie Elam Collins.
He was united in marriage to Kathy Hunt on August 23, 1975. He served his country in the United States Army in Germany during the Vietnam War. Stanley worked many years for Frederick and May Lumber Company. He was a Christian and a member of the Lick Fork Pentecostal Church, and will be remembered as a loving husband, brother, son-in-law, brother-in-law, and uncle. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, Morton & Bessie Collins, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Cecil Hunt; three sisters, Willodean Perry, Blanche Black, and Elizabeth Engdahl; and one brother, Kelly Collins.
He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Kathy Hunt Collins; two sisters, Amy Jo Morrison of Ashland, KY and Judy Davis of Midway, GA; his mother-in-law, Rosetta Hunt; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Tommy & Debbie Hunt, Ralph & Janey Law, Terry & Melody Lykins, and Marleen New; a special nephew which was like his son, Jeremy Charles Clinger; and a host of nephews and nieces and great nephews and nieces.
Funeral Service 1 p.m., Sunday, May 22, 2022 at the Lick Fork Pentecostal Church, with Rev. Jonathan Sargent, Rev. Phillip Ferguson, and Rev. Johnny Dagnan officiating. Burial to follow in the Hunt Cemetery, Callahan Road, West Liberty KY, with Morgan County DAV Chapter 132 to conduct military rites. Visitation 6 p.m., Saturday, May 21, 2022 at the Lick Fork Pentecostal Church.
