Cassie Monet Chaney

On Tuesday, March 2, 2021, Cassie Monet Chaney, loving daughter and mother of one son, Charley Dylan Hall, passed away at the age of 32. Cassie was born on March 29, 1988 in Lexington, KY, to Richard “Moe” and Janea Potter Chaney.

She recently opened her own business, Primrose Beauty by Monet. She was attending South Eastern Beauty Academy to expand her expertise for her clients. Cassie was an exceptional woman with many talents and traits that impacted a great amount of lives. Many would say that she was an inspiration and an overcomer. She was a true light in everyone’s life.

Cassie was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Darryl and Daisy Chaney; maternal grandfather, Jay Potter; and one aunt, Nancy Chaney Stacy.

She is survived by her parents, Moe & Janea Chaney; her son, Dylan Hall; her brother, Nick Chaney; her maternal grandmother, Linda Potter; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Funeral service 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 6, 2021 at the Potter Funeral Home. Burial to follow in the Salem Cemetery, Buskirk, KY. Visitation 6:00 p.m., Friday, March 5, 2021 at the Potter Funeral Home.

Pallbearers: Brandon Conley, Cameron Conley, Chase Potter, Casey Potter, Chris Potter, Chandler Trusty, Kyle Stacy, and Michael Brickey.
