Carol Sue (McGuire) Rudd

Carol Sue Rudd of Louisa, KY, passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at Three Rivers Medical Center, Louisa, KY, at the age of 62 years, 5 months, and 17 days. She was born Saturday, June 20, 1959, at Dehart, KY, daughter of the late Ronald & Reva Peyton McGuire.

Carol was united in marriage to Larry Dean Rudd.  She was a retired factory worker at Lion Apparel. She was a Christian and a member of the Zag Community Church. She loved her family and will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and sister. She will be missed by all of her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Dean Rudd; and a special friend, Tom Stacy.

Carol is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Connie Allene & Steven Fitch of Louisa, KY; five grandchildren, Brandon Kelly, Caitlyn Kelly, Amber Melick, Cassie Fitch, and Stevie Fitch; four great grandchildren, Mason Kelly, Sadie Miller, Walker Kelly, and Harley Miller; and two brothers, Donnie & Deborah McGuire and Phillip “Hoggie” McGuire all of West Liberty, KY.

Funeral Service, 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 10, 2021 at the Potter Funeral Home, with Bro. Mike Frisby officiating. Burial to follow in the Rudd Cemetery, Grassy Creek, KY. Visitation from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m., Thursday, December 9, 2021, at the funeral home.

Pallbearers: Brandon Kelly, Stevie Fitch, Tanner McGuire, Larry Watson, Charles Miller, and Robert “R.J.” Bass.
