Carma Delight (Perry) Cumins

Carma Delight Perry Cumins of West Liberty, KY, passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at UK Medical Center, Lexington, KY, at the age of 73 years, 3 months, & 4 days.  She was born Friday, November 30, 1951, in West Liberty, KY, daughter of George & Fannie Eldridge Perry.

Carma was united in marriage to Joe Carl Cumins.  Carma was former cashier at Sams Club in Oklahoma.  She was of the Christian faith and attended Blaze Community Church.  She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George & Fannie Perry; her husband, Joe Carl Cumins; two children, James Perry & Tammy Renee; and three brothers & one sister, Bruce Perry, Geraldine Brown, Garland Perry, & Jack Perry.

Carma is survived by one daughter, Jodi Jeanette Smallwood (Geoffrey) of West Liberty, KY; her significant other, Gregory Paul Vargo of West Liberty, KY; three grandchildren, Tami Renee Smallwood, Joseph Scott Perry, and Jayden Rian Perry; one sister, Melissa Ann Kilgore of Morehead, KY; special nieces, Katie, Ivy, Allie, & Allyssa; and several other nieces & nephews.

Funeral service, 2 p.m., Sunday, March 9, 2025 at Potter Funeral Home, with Bro. Vernon Lewis & Bro. Timmy Sargent officiating.  Burial to follow in the Perry Cemetery, Blaze, KY.  Visitation 5-7 p.m., Saturday, March 8, 2025 at Potter Funeral Home.
