Burman Louis Fields of West Liberty, KY, passed away Monday, May 4, 2020 at West Liberty, KY, at the age of 44 years, 2 months, and 20 days. He was born Saturday, February 14, 1976 at West Liberty, KY, son of Shirley Oakley Fields, and the late James Fields.
Burman was united in marriage to Bobbie Jo Peak. This union was blessed with one daughter, Allison Marie. Burman was a former electrician and HVAC repairman and was a Christian and attended the Lick Fork Pentecostal Church. He was a loving son, father, and brother. He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one brother, Jimmy Ray Fields; two brothers-in-law, Billy Wayne Lewis & Troy Ison; and nephew, Billy Ray Lewis; and twin nieces, Sara & Sally Lewis.
He was survived by his mother, Shirley Kay Fields, who passed away the day after his death on May 5, 2020; his wife, Bobbie Jo Fields of Sandy Hook, KY; daughter, Allison Marie Fields of West Liberty, KY; six sisters and one brother, Kathy Lewis of West Liberty, KY, Nelda & Wes Bailey of Louisville, KY, Marita & Willard Lewis, Kimberly & Bryan Puckett all of West Liberty, KY, Juanita & Tim Lykins of Ezel, KY, Sue & Steve Johnson and Jimmy Lewis all of OH; and a host of nieces & nephews; three uncles and one aunt, Frank & Joyce Oakley of Woodsbend, KY, Charlie Oakley of Missouri, Ray Fields, and Alice & Wendell Lewis all of West Liberty, KY; and a host of cousins.
Due to the COVID-19 requirements set forth by Governor Andy Beshear, a private graveside service for the immediate family, will be held Thursday, May 7, 2020 at the James Fields Cemetery, West Liberty, KY.
