Brenda Kaye Brake

Brenda Kaye Hurdle Brake,West Liberty, KY, passed away Sunday, July 3, 2022 at her residence, at the age of 56 years, 7 months, and 16 days.  She was born Saturday, November 27, 1965, at Booneville, KY, daughter of the late Melvin and Fannie Marshall Conley.

She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.  She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Robert Tolson; one sister, Rose Bowmen; and four brothers, Danny Ray Hurdle, Edward A. Hurdle, Pat Hurdle, and Eugene Reynolds.

Brenda is survived by 4 children, Twyla Tolson, Hazel Green, KY., Rebecca Lewis, West Liberty, KY, Amos Tolson, Hazel Green, KY, and Fanny Ferguson (Jason), West Liberty, KY; Thirteen grandchildren, Maria Williams, Brian Peyton ll, Kaylee Peyton, Monte Peyton, Madison Peyton, Allison Tolson, Anna Tolson, Gabe Tolson, Tony Lewis Jr, Lindsey Lewis, Robby Lewis, Austin Ferguson, Memphis Ferguson; four great grandchildren, Maci Krallman, Kylan Peyton, Carson Watkins, Magnolia Patterson; and six brothers and sisters, Edward T. Hurdle, Gail Terry, Debbie Reynolds, Sue Barrett, Peggy Turner, and Margaret Barrett.

Funeral service 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at the Potter Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Raymond Vancleave officiating with burial to follow in the Fairchild Cemetery, West Liberty, KY.

Visitation 12:00 noon – 2:00 p.m. Wednesday July 6, 2022 at the funeral home.
