Bonnie Jean (Whitt) Yeary

Bonnie Jean Yeary of Wrigley, KY, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2026, at her son’s residence, at the age of 85 years, 5 months, and 6 days.  She was born Tuesday, January 7, 1941, at Redwine, KY, daughter of Bernie “Bun” & Viola Frisby Whitt.

Bonnie was a homemaker, devoting her life to care for her family & home.   She was a Christian, a member and also baptized at Wrigley Baptist Church. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernie “Bun” & Viola Whitt; one sister & two brothers, Joyce Eldridge, Bernie Wayne Whitt, and Shamel Whitt; and a special sister, Lovell Woolums.

Bonnie is survived by her three sons, Timmy Yeary (Bebe) of Wrigley, Robert Yeary (Susan) of West Liberty, and Bryan Yeary of Wrigley; five grandchildren, Ashtyn Bidwell (Kyle), Jordan Logsdon (Kaitie), Blue Yeary, Hannah Yeary, and Dawson Yeary; three great grandchildren, Ruby Logsdon, Samson Logsdon, and Brinley Bidwell; and sisters & brother, Totsy Evans, Roxie Johnston (Ronnie), Sharon Holbrook, Beverly Little (Larry), Deborah Gray (Gary Hazle), Dottie Johnston (Johnny), David Whitt, and Jennifer Young; two special sisters, Darlene Winstead (James) & Connie Patton (Bob); and a host of nieces & nephews.

Bonnie will be missed by all her family and friends.

Funeral service 1 p.m., Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at the Potter Funeral Home, with Bro. Keith Holbrook officiating.  Burial to follow in the A.L. Whitt Cemetery, Redwine Road, West Liberty, KY.  Visitation from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m., Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at the funeral home.

Pallbearers:  Kyle Young, Joey Little, Gary Hazle, Justin Slone, Isaiah Holbrook, Mark Johnston, Koby Johnston, Kyle Bidwell, and Byron Holbrook.

Honorary Pallbearers:  Blue Yeary, Dawson Yeary, and Jordan Logsdon.
