Bessaleen Fern Ball

Bessaleen Fern Ball of West Liberty, KY, passed away Sunday, September 5, 2021 at St. Claire Regional Hospital, Morehead, KY, at the age of 92 years and 4 days. She was born Sunday, September 1, 1929, at Crockett, KY, daughter of the late George Morton & Lula Emma Isaac Ball.

She was a homemaker, devoting her life to care for her family and her home. She was a Christian and a member of the Tom’s Branch Community Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, great & great-great aunt, and will be missed by all of her family and friends.

Bessaleen was preceded in death by her parents, George Morton & Lula Emma Ball; five brothers & one sister, Leo Ball, Van Ball, Stanley Ball, Glenn Ball, Manuel Ball, and Sadie Ball.

She is survived by her son, Ralph Allan Keeton of West Liberty, KY; two grandsons, Jamie Allan Keeton & wife, Dayla and Jason Wayde Keeton all of West Liberty, KY; one great grandson, Damian Keeton; special nephews, Danny Ball & Anna Ruth of Laurel Fork, KY and Dennis Ball & Linda of West Liberty, KY; great nieces and nephew, Erica Howard & Douglas, Brittany Ball, and Christopher Ball; one great-great niece, Reagan Howard; and several other nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews.

Funeral service 1 p.m., Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at the Potter Funeral Home, with Bro. Jeff Montgomery officiating. Burial to follow in the Ball Cemetery, Crockett, KY. Visitation from 10:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. Wednesday, September 8, 2021.

Pallbearers: Jason Keeton, Jamie Keeton, Brent Ball, Brandon Ball, Elmer Keeton, Dennis Ball, Chris Bush, and Josh Legg.
