Barbara Jean (Jones) Costello

Barbara Jean Costello of Crockett, KY, passed away Saturday, August 19, 2023, at her residence, at the age of 70 years, 1 month, and 25 days. She was born on Thursday, June 25, 1953, daughter of the late Willis Elwood & Lois Frances Cantrell Jones.

Barbara was a retired factory worker and grocery store stock clerk.  She will be remembered as a loving sister, aunt, and sister-in-law.  She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends, and all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul M. Costello; her son, Jamey Allen Legg; grandson, Nathan Michael Legg; two sisters, Rhonda Louise Gamble and Alene Sue Orndroff; one infant brother, Lee Wallace Jones; one niece, Susan Renee Smith; and one great nephew. 

Survivors includes one brother, Paul W. Jones of Crockett, KY; one sister, Minnie Pearl Smith (Jimmy Roger) of West Liberty, KY; nieces and nephews, Roger Smith (Crystal), Steven Jones, Heather Gamble, Frances Johnson, Jessie Haney (Allen), and Tammy Sue Jones; 2 great nephews & 3 great nieces; sister-in-law, Virginia C. Levi of Virginia; brother-in-law, Buck Gamble West Liberty, KY; and her special friend, Wanda Pack of Piqua, OH.

No services will be scheduled.  Potter Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
