Athena Cheyenne (Blair) Montgomery

Athena Cheyenne "Punky" Montgomery of Dayton, OH, passed away, Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at her residence in Dayton, OH, at the age of 40 years, 9 months, and 23 days.  She was born Saturday, November 28, 1981, at Dayton, OH, daughter of Bertha Keeton Hurtt and the late Hershel Blair.

She was employed in janitorial services, was a member of the First Baptist Church in Fairborn, OH, and was a loving daughter, mother, niece, and friend.  She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Hershel Blair and a half-brother, Dwayne Blair.

She is survived by her mother, Bertha Hurtt of Beaver Creek, OH; two sons, Anthoni Clay Montgomery and Isaac David Montgomery both of Springfield, OH; a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins; and her former husband, Anthoni D. Montgomery of Springfield, OH. 

Funeral Service 1 p.m. Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at the Crockett Community Church with Rev. Jackie Smith and Bro. Hershell Wright officiating.  Burial to follow in the Fyffe Cemetery, Crockett, KY.  Visitation 7 p.m., Monday, September 26, 2022 at the church.  Potter Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers:  Anthoni Clay Montgomery, Isaac David Montgomery, Anthoni D. Montgomery, Tim Simmons, Junior Keeton, Jerry Keeton, and Junior Isaac.
