Anthony "Tony" Dale Perkins

Anthony “Tony” Dale Perkins of Grassy Creek, KY, passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at the Highlands ARH Regional Medical Center, Prestonsburg, KY, at the age of 69 years, 10 months, & 1 day.  He was born Tuesday, October 19, 1954 in Dayton, OH, son of Kathleen Caskey Perkins and the late Ancle Dale Perkins.

Tony enjoyed hunting & fishing.  He loved animals and use to have horses, goats, cats, and dogs.  He will be remembered as a loving son, brother, uncle, nephew, and cousin, and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ancle Dale Perkins; his maternal grandparents, Orville & Delsa Caskey; and his paternal grandparents, Ventus & Nina Perkins.

He is survived by his mother, Kathleen Caskey Perkins of Kettering, OH; his sister, Holly Perkins of West Liberty, KY; one nephew, Nathan Perkins; one great nephew, Dalton Gebele; one aunt, Fern Carroll (Jerry) of Versailles, KY; and several cousins.

Funeral service 1 p.m., Friday, August 23, 2024 at the Potter Funeral Home, with Fred Kellers & Tyrone Sparks officiating.  Burial at Perkins Cemetery, Stacy Fork, KY.  Visitation from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., Friday, August 23, 2024 at the funeral home.
