Alice Faye Watkins

Alice Faye Lewis Watkins of West Liberty, KY, passed away Thursday, January 25, 2024 at her residence, at the age of 85 years, 7 months, and 11 days. She was born on Tuesday, June 14, 1938 at West Liberty, KY, a daughter of the late Math and Etta Mae Lewis.

She was united in marriage to Jim Watkins. This union was blessed with three children, James Curtis, Matthew, and Kenny. She was a homemaker, devoting her life to care for her family and her home, and was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Watkins, 12 siblings.

Survivors include three children, James Curtis Watkins of West Liberty, KY, Matthew and Phyllis Watkins of West Liberty, KY, Kenny and Julie Watkins of Wilmington, OH; two grandchildren, James Mathis and Anastasia, Danielle Mathis; four great grandchildren, Malachi, J.C., Chanse, and Antonia Mathis and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside service 1:00 pm Sunday in the Lewis and Howard Cemetery, Russell Lewis Rd., West Liberty, KY , with Rev. Vernon Lewis officiating, burial will follow. There will be no visitation. Pallbearers: Family and Friends.
