Margaret Ann (Phipps) King

Margaret Ann Phipps King of Hazel Green, KY, passed away Monday, November 25, 2019 at her residence, at the age of 48 years, 10 months, and 20 days. She was born Tuesday, January 5, 1971 at Campton, KY, daughter of Yondel Phipps and the late Linda Sue Hollon Phipps.

She was a retired sewing machine operator at Lion Apparel. As health permitted she attended Pekin Pentecostal Church. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and great aunt, and will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ray & Janie Trent Hollon and Dillard & Mary Phipps; one brother, Michael Phipps; beloved uncles, Bruce Phipps and Darrell Hollon; nephew, Cody Dunn; and cousin, Jimmy Parks.

Margaret is survived by two daughters, Annabelle King & Abigail King; her father, Yondel Phipps of Hazel Green, KY; one brother, David & Bridgett Phipps of Hazel Green, KY; two sisters, Melissa Phipps and Amanda & Chuckie Terrill all of Hazel Green, KY; eight nieces & nephews, Jeffery & Paige Flinchum, Austin King, Cole Phipps, Nikki Dunn, Lauryn Terrill, Walker Rupe, Karley Phipps, and Haley Rupe; and three great nieces & nephews, Elijah Flinchum, Danielle Flinchum, and Blake Flinchum.

Funeral service 1 p.m., Friday, November 29, 2019 at the Potter Funeral Home, with Pastor Arpie Hampton officiating. Burial to follow in the Phipps Family Cemetery, Caskey Fork Road, Hazel Green, KY. Visitation 6 p.m., Thursday, November 28, 2019 at the funeral home.

Pallbearers: Greg Parks, Kyle Puckett, Vernon Vance, Eric Price, Freddie Long, Donnie Long, Brandon Kelly, and Nathan Long.

Honorary Pallbearers: Jeffery Flinchum, Austin King, Cole Phipps, and Walker Rupe.
