Kathryn Kimelton

Kathryn Kimelton of Grassy Creek, KY, passed away Monday, April 17, 2006, at the age of 91 years, 4 months, and 7 days. She was born on Thursday, December 10, 1914 at Salem, KY, a daughter born to the late James and Minnie Amyx Tipton. Kathryn was united in marriage to Earl Kimelton. To this union, three sons were born. She was a homemaker, devoting her life to care for her children and her home. She was a member of the Salem Community Church. She will always be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Kimelton on March 8, 1997; one brother, and four sisters. She is survived by her three sons, William Scott "Bill" Kimelton and wife Shirley of Grassy Creek, KY, James Earl Kimelton and wife Roberta of Winter Haven, FL, Dwight T. Kimelton and wife Lynda of Mt. Vernon, IL; nine grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. Funeral service, 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 20, 2006, at the Potter Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. David Hinton officiating. Burial in the Salem Cemetery, Buskirk, KY. Visitation 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 19, 2006 at the Potter Funeral Home. Pallbearers: Grandsons and Oliver Proffitt.
