Forrest Samuel Miller of West Liberty, KY, passed away Friday, January 3, 2020 at the VA Medical Center, Lexington, KY, at the age of 94 years, 2 months, and 4 days. He was born Friday, October 30, 1925 at Pedro, OH, son of the late Samuel Wilson Miller & Daisy Alice Aultman Miller.
He was united in marriage to Delcia Lee Ferguson on October 17, 1949. This union was blessed with one son, Lloyd Allen Miller. Forrest was a retired truck driver, owning and operating his own trucking business. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving his country during WW II. He was also a Christian and a member of the Upper Room Pentecostal Church at Paintsville, KY. He was a loving father, grandfather, and brother, and will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Delcia Lee Ferguson Miller; and several brothers & sisters. He is survived by his son & daughter-in-law, Lloyd Allen & Margarita Miller of Georgetown, KY; one grandson, Scott & Misty Miller of TN; one sister, Goldie Hall of Virginia Beach, VA; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service 1 p.m., Friday, January 10, 2020 at the Potter Funeral Home, with Rev. David Sibole & Rev. James Wallin officiating. Burial to follow in the Ferguson Cemetery, Relief, KY. Visitation 11 a.m. - 1 p.m., Friday, January 10, 2020 at the funeral home.
