Carter Dee Evans

Carter Dee Evans of West Liberty, KY, passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2020 at West Liberty, KY, at the age of 77 years, 4 months, and 13 days. He was born Wednesday, September 2, 1942 at Malone, KY, son of the late Walter A. & Beulah DeBorde Evans.

Carter was united in marriage to Annelies Kristen. This union was blessed with three children, Sandy, Kristopher Dee & Walter Darris. He served his country in the U.S. Army from 1962 – 1965. He retired from EKCC in the maintenance department. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother, and will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Alvie Evans.

He is survived by his wife, Annelies Kristen Evans; three children, Sandy Parker & John Charles of Erlanger, KY, Kristopher Dee & April Evans of Georgetown, KY, and Walter Darris & Carolyn Evans of Richmond, KY; two grandchildren, Garrett Parker and Andrew Parker; three step grandchildren, Taylor, Tyler, & Austin; one step great grandchild, Korah; and two sisters, Deloris Goldey of Lexington, KY and Mary Sue & Ed Noe of Lebanon, OH.

Funeral service 11 a.m., Friday, January 17, 2020 at the Potter Funeral Home, with Bro. Mike Lindon officiating. Burial to follow in the Evans Cemetery, Havens Branch RD, Malone, KY. Visitation 6 p.m., Thursday, January 16, 2020 at the Potter Funeral Home.

Pallbearers: Kristopher Dee Evans, Walter Darris Evans, Garrett Parker, Andrew Parker, John Charles, Dion Bajusz, Tyler Barton, and Austin Patterson.
